What You’ll Do

• Collect, organize, and maintain geospatial data using ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, and similar platforms
• Produce maps, dashboards, and visualizations to support project teams and stakeholders
• Assist with spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and interpretation of spatial datasets
• Support utility, environmental, infrastructure, and land‑development projects with GIS deliverables
• Update and manage geodatabases, feature classes, and metadata documentation
• Perform data quality reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency of GIS products
• Integrate GPS, survey, and field‑collected data into GIS systems
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, environmental specialists, and project managers
• Prepare technical figures, exhibits, and documentation for project reporting
• Learn and apply GIS best practices, workflows, and emerging geospatial technologies

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Geospatial Technology, Urban Planning, or a related discipline
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, QGIS, or similar GIS software
• Basic understanding of cartography, geodatabases, coordinate systems, and spatial analysis
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to communicate technical findings using maps, reports, and presentations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Problem‑solving skills and strong organization
• Desire to learn, grow, and contribute in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, academic project, or research experience using GIS tools
• Exposure to Python, SQL, ModelBuilder, or geospatial automation workflows
• Experience with GPS data, aerial imagery, or remote sensing datasets
• Familiarity with utility, environmental, transportation, or planning applications
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or CAD‑to‑GIS workflows
• ESRI coursework or certifications are a plus

Pay & Benefits

• Expected salary range (annual): $55,000 - $70,000, depending on qualifications and experience
• Hourly range shown: $25.00 - $40.00/hr
