Responsibilities

This role delivers comprehensive primary and acute care to children and adolescents (ages 1–18) in a private practice setting on behalf of Confidential Client. Typical responsibilities include:

• Assess patients and diagnose a wide range of pediatric conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide routine well-child visits, immunizations, and preventive care
• Offer family-centered health education and guidance
• Manage chronic pediatric conditions and monitor progress
• Prescribe and manage medications appropriately, following state regulations
• Maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Respond to occasional urgent or emergency situations as needed

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following clinical tracks:

• Physician: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), eligible for or holding an active Virginia medical license.
• Physician Assistant: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) appropriate for PA training and PA certification/licensure (PA-C) with eligibility for Virginia licensure.
• Nurse Practitioner: Graduate degree (MSN or DNP) with NP certification and eligibility for Virginia NP licensure.

Note: Candidates should be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to satisfy any state-specific credentialing or background checks required by Confidential Client.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in pediatric healthcare is acceptable; clinical rotations, residency, or supervised pediatric practice preferred
• Strong communication skills with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort managing both preventive care and stable chronic conditions in children and adolescents
