The Opportunity
Confidential Client is hiring a GenAI Python Systems Engineer (Experienced Associate) to join a Data & Analytics Engineering team supporting enterprise AI and cloud data solutions. This role focuses on developing reliable, production-grade systems that power AI/ML models, data pipelines, and analytics platforms. You’ll work on cross-functional teams, contribute to design and implementation, and help deliver outcomes that drive business value.
What You’ll Do
- Build and support Python-based systems and services that enable AI/ML solutions and data analytics.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot data pipelines, ETL jobs, and data warehouses to maintain data quality and reliability.
- Manage containerized deployments and CI/CD workflows to ensure smooth releases and operational stability.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, ARM templates, Terraform) to provision and maintain cloud resources.
- Participate in developer-led testing and code reviews to maintain software quality.
- Apply modern AI techniques (including work with LLM-enhancing approaches) to integrate model capabilities into systems.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer & Information Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in software, data engineering, or related technical roles.
- Proficiency with Python; familiarity with Java or Scala is a plus.
- Practical SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and basic CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of technical work and personal development.
Nice to Have
- Cloud certifications or hands-on experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Familiarity with ML/data science workflows, model deployment patterns, and LLM-related techniques.
- Experience designing data architecture to meet business needs.
- Experience monitoring and optimizing system performance and cloud costs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $61,000 - $100,000 (actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, location, and applicable law).
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus.
