Role overview

This entry-level role is an opportunity to join a technology team building, integrating, testing, and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions. You will work with LLMs, data pipelines, and cloud platforms to help deliver production-ready AI features.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for business use cases.
• Build and integrate Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
• Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation pipelines.
• Develop AI applications using LangChain, embeddings, RAG patterns, and vector databases.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services; design API-based workflows.
• Create and refine prompt-engineering strategies and evaluate LLM outputs.
• Assist with deploying models and applications to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and product teams; participate in code reviews and testing.
• Troubleshoot model, data, and integration issues; maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of SQL and data processing workflows.
• Familiarity with NLP and transformer-based model concepts.
• Experience with REST APIs and API integration.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and modern software development workflows.
• Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Hugging Face, or OpenAI APIs.
• Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, or similar).
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google Vertex AI.
• Understanding of MLOps and production model deployment practices.

Experience

• Entry-level — 0–2 years of experience in AI/ML, software engineering, or data science.
• Academic projects, internships, bootcamp projects, or personal AI/ML projects are welcome.

• Estimated pay (source): $114,368 per year (estimated).
