Role Overview
Our confidential client, a leader in healthcare decision intelligence, is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain web applications that deliver actionable insights to healthcare stakeholders. This role follows third-party recruiting best practices: clear goals, competencies, and a focus on candidate experience.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable front-end and back-end features for production web applications
- Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to translate requirements into robust solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code and automated tests
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and engineering discussions to raise code quality
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance and reliability
- Contribute to architectural discussions and help evolve platform standards and tooling
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering production web applications as a full-stack engineer (or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of front-end and back-end development concepts
- Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one server-side language or runtime
- Practical experience with RESTful APIs, data persistence, and version control workflows
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly
- Comfortable working in an iterative, agile environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working on healthcare or data-driven products
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized deployments
- Background with automated testing, CI/CD, and observability practices
- Exposure to data engineering or ML-driven feature delivery
