Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an early-career Full Stack Software Engineer (Entry-Junior) to join a product-focused engineering team in San Francisco, CA. This role emphasizes frontend work (React + TypeScript) with opportunities to contribute to backend services, APIs, and data flow across systems that interact with mission-critical hardware. You will work with experienced engineers to ship greenfield features, learn full-stack development, and help deliver reliable, high-performance software.


What You’ll Do

  • Build and improve browser-based user interfaces with a focus on usability, performance, and accessibility.
  • Implement frontend features using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
  • Contribute to backend services and APIs that support frontend applications (APIs, databases, basic service logic).
  • Work across the stack to support data flow, system performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and operators to translate real-world operational needs into software solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; participate in code reviews and iterative design.
  • Help drive greenfield projects from concept through launch.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
  • Basic understanding of backend development concepts (APIs, databases, services).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building end-to-end (full-stack) projects — personal, academic, or professional.
  • Familiarity with modern web architecture and client-server data flow patterns.
  • Exposure to real-time or streaming data systems.

Location, Authorization & Compliance
