Confidential Client (Information Technology & Services) is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (React + Node.js + AWS) for a long-term contract engagement. This is a remote contractor role that requires availability during Central or Eastern U.S. time zones (CST or EST). The engagement emphasizes building and maintaining customer-facing and internal web applications using React, Node.js, and AWS.

What You’ll Do

• Implement and maintain front-end features using React.
• Build and support back-end services and APIs with Node.js.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications hosted on AWS.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other engineers to deliver production-ready features.
• Contribute to testing, code reviews, and documentation to maintain high quality and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with React for building front-end user interfaces.
• Strong experience developing server-side applications with Node.js.
• Practical experience deploying and operating applications on AWS.
• Ability to work remotely and be available during CST or EST business hours.
• Available for a long-term contract engagement (extensions likely).

• Experience working on full-stack projects in a remote, distributed team.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and collaborative development workflows.
