What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain React / React Native mobile interfaces for a consumer trading product.
• Implement and extend Python backend services and APIs that power trading features.
• Design, optimize, and scale systems for performance, reliability, and low-latency trading workflows.
• Write robust tests, diagnose issues, and iterate quickly on production problems.
• Own end-to-end features across frontend and backend — from design and implementation to monitoring and rollout.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, operations, and other engineers in a fast-paced, seed-stage environment.

Who You Are / Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a strong academic program; a top-tier CS background is preferred.
• Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, systems).
• Hands-on full-stack experience — web and/or mobile (React or React Native preferred).
• Production Python backend experience.
• Solid testing, debugging, and reliability practices.
• Demonstrated ownership of technical projects (significant personal projects, GitHub, or prior product work).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work in person in New York, NY.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $150,000 – $400,000 per year + equity (range provided by our client).
• Benefits and other perks will be shared by the client during the interview process.
