What You’ll Do
Build and ship customer-facing and platform-level features that bridge modern cloud APIs with legacy on‑prem systems. You'll work across the stack — designing, implementing, and testing APIs, integrations, and front-end experiences that scale.
- Architect and build reliable API layers that unify many fragmented systems under a common data model.
- Design generic, scalable solutions for things like filtering, pagination and authentication that work across many integrations.
- Implement integrations for on‑prem systems (SQL, DLL, custom APIs) including real‑time connectors (webhooks, web‑sockets) when those primitives are absent.
- Optimize performance at scale: build caching layers, reduce latency, and improve throughput while handling millions of API requests per day.
- Create automated tests and scalable testing frameworks to validate behavior across hundreds or thousands of endpoints.
- Ship front-end applications that dog‑food your own APIs, improving API ergonomics and driving product improvements.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand needs, iterate on specs, and deliver production-ready solutions quickly.
Who You Are
A high-impact, early-career engineer ready to work in-person in San Francisco and learn quickly from a small, technical team.
- Exceptional new college graduate with strong internship or co‑op experience; top undergraduate program experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Self-motivated, high ownership, low ego; you enjoy working on fast-paced, intense teams.
- Comfortable working in-person in San Francisco 5 days/week (relocation support provided).
- Willingness to learn system integration, API design, and operational excellence — prior experience with the exact tech stack or B2B SaaS is not required.
- Work authorization: Confidential Client may sponsor visas (H‑1B, TN, etc.) for strong candidates.
