What You’ll Own
Confidential Client is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer II to collaborate with product, QA, and operations to design, build, test, and support responsive web applications used in global payments and commerce. You will deliver high-quality front-end experiences with Angular and robust back-end services in Java/Spring Boot while helping to improve release automation and operational reliability.
- Responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software
- Build responsive web applications that adapt across devices
- Implement RESTful web services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams with Product, QA, and DevOps
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments
- Participate in monthly production releases and contribute to release automation
- Write maintainable, testable, and well-documented code to achieve operational excellence
Qualifications (What You’ll Bring)
- 5+ years of software development experience, including front-end and back-end work
- 5+ years with front-end languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as Angular
- 5+ years building RESTful services in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Strong SQL skills; experience with DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server preferred
- Hands-on with Git, GitHub and CI/CD / DevOps tooling (Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Maven)
- Experience with cloud and container technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, and VS Code
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills; ability to work across time zones
- Solid problem-solving and analytical thinking
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Kafka, data streaming, or event-driven architectures
- UI/UX fundamentals: wireframes, storyboards, and usability testing
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or caching technologies such as Redis
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Compensation & Legal Notices
For this full-time position, the good-faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $91,900–$138,700. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate’s experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Changes in work location may impact the final offered salary.
