What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer II (Angular, Java) to join a global payments and software engineering organization in Atlanta, GA. You’ll collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to build and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications and backend services.
- Responsible for coding, testing, and analyzing application software.
- Build responsive web UIs that adapt to multiple devices and screen sizes using Angular and modern frontend tooling.
- Design and implement RESTful services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
- Participate in monthly production releases and support off-hours deployments when required.
- Automate processes to improve operational excellence; write maintainable, testable, and supportable code.
- Work closely with product teams to align development with the Product Operating Model and product requirements.
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and actively contribute to planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of front-end web development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- 5+ years of experience with advanced JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap).
- 5+ years building web services and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and microservices patterns.
- Strong hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Maven).
- Solid SQL skills; experience with DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, TDD/BDD, DevOps practices, and automation.
- Experience with cloud and container tech: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and pipeline automation.
- Proficiency with IDEs and developer tools (IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS Code).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to collaborate across time zones.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data streaming (Kafka) and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with UI/UX practices: wireframes, usability testing, and human-computer interaction fundamentals.
- Experience implementing caching (e.g., Redis), or exposure to AI/ML concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Compensation & Legal
- Employment type: Full-time
- Location: Atlanta, GA (on-site / hybrid as required by the client)
- Good-faith estimated annual salary range upon hire: $91,900 - $138,700 USD. The actual offer will depend on experience, skills, and location. Changes in work location may impact the final offered salary.
