Full-Stack Software Engineer
The Full-Stack Software Engineer at Confidential Client will build and ship features across the full-stack platform, owning projects end-to-end from problem understanding to deployment. This role involves working closely with senior engineers to improve platform performance, reliability, and scalability while contributing to various products including brand dashboards and mobile apps. What You’ll Do
- Build and ship features across a full-stack platform (Next.js, Express/Node.js, React Native, PostgreSQL).
- Own projects end-to-end: define the problem, design solutions, implement, test, and deploy.
- Work closely with senior technical leadership in a small, high-output engineering team.
- Contribute to web dashboards, a creator-facing mobile app, backend API services, and internal tools.
- Improve platform performance, reliability, and scalability to support rapid growth.
- Help design and implement new systems and architectures.
- Write clean, maintainable code and iterate quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Debug production issues across the stack and increase system resilience.
Who You Are
- 1–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong fundamentals in TypeScript / JavaScript and modern web development.
- Comfortable working across frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Self-directed and resourceful; you research and prototype solutions before escalating.
- Thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift and speed matters.
- Collaborative but opinionated — you share ideas and defend trade-offs with data.
- Excited about building products used by real people at scale.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience, preferred.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Next.js, React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Background with real-time systems, message queues, or distributed architectures.
- Open-source contributions or a strong personal project portfolio.
- Interest in AI/ML, content discovery, or creator-economy platforms.
- Mobile app development experience (React Native, Expo).

Location & Eligibility
- Location: Detroit, MI. This role is open to candidates located in or willing to relocate to Detroit, Michigan.
