Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry‑Level Full Stack Engineer to join their engineering team in Washington, DC. This is a full‑time role focused on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining modern web applications across front‑end and back‑end stacks. Candidate must be open to relocate to Washington, DC.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies.
  • Build user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Implement server‑side logic and RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express), Python (Django/Flask), or .NET Core.
  • Design and optimize SQL queries and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and follow Agile best practices.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, QA, and other engineers to deliver high‑quality features.
  • Document technical designs, APIs, and deployment steps; support releases and production monitoring.
  • Stay current with web development frameworks, cloud services, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Basic experience with front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Familiarity with back‑end frameworks and languages such as Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express), Python (Django/Flask), or .NET Core.
  • Understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP) and software design fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
  • Basic experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent academic credential) or relevant internship/project experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot, Express.js, ASP.NET Core, or Django.
  • Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
  • Understanding of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth).
  • Internship, open‑source, or academic project experience building full stack applications.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Base salary range (as provided in source): USD 30 – 35 per YEAR.
  • Location: Washington, DC — candidate must be open to relocate.
  • Employment type: Full‑time
