About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring an experienced AI Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI-powered features that enhance healthcare products and services. This role spans front-end user experiences, back-end AI model integration, data pipelines, and deployment. You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and DevOps to deliver scalable, secure solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Develop production-grade AI-driven software that meets enterprise standards and business needs.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and related systems into new and legacy codebases.
• Implement voice recognition, document parsing, image processing, and text-to-speech components where required.
• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and datasets to support model training, evaluation, and inference.
• Fine-tune and serve GPT-family models, Llama models, and other applicable models to meet project requirements.
• Create and iterate on prompts, maintain prompt libraries, implement prompt caching, and benchmark prompt performance.
• Build AI agents (e.g., using Semantic Kernel) and prototype co-pilot or autonomous workflow experiences.
• Communicate complex AI concepts (LLMs, vector stores, model tuning) clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document code, designs, and operational procedures to ensure reproducibility and maintainability.
• Stay current with AI research and tooling, and bring pragmatic innovations into production systems.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience delivering complex applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with programming languages and AI libraries; practical experience integrating models into applications.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines that support model development and deployment.
• Practical knowledge of LLM concepts, vector databases, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with model fine-tuning and serving inference workloads in production.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience building co-pilot or autonomous workflow prototypes.
• Familiarity with Semantic Kernel, model evaluation metrics, and benchmarking approaches.
• Experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD for AI applications.
