Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and maintain web applications that power AI-enabled products. You’ll work across the stack — from user-facing interfaces to APIs and infrastructure — collaborating with product, data science, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain frontend interfaces and backend services for production web applications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support product features.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and data scientists to ship features end-to-end.
- Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and security issues in production.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to automate deployments and improve developer experience.
- Help define technical standards, documentation, and best practices for the engineering team.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience in full-stack roles.
- Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
- Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or equivalent.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and common services (compute, storage, managed databases).
- Solid understanding of version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to partner cross-functionally.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience working on AI/ML-integrated applications or products.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) and performance tuning.
- Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, or serverless architectures.
- Prior experience at an early-stage/scale-up environment.
