Position overview
Confidential Client is seeking recent graduates for an entry-level Full Stack Engineer role based in Texas (on-site). This is an early-career software engineering opportunity focused on building web applications across front-end and back-end systems. Candidates on OPT, STEM OPT, and CPT are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Work on real-world web applications — front-end interfaces and back-end APIs
- Implement responsive UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Build and consume RESTful APIs; integrate with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Troubleshoot, debug, and write tests to improve code quality
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders
- Assist with deployment and basic site reliability tasks (CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration)
Minimum qualifications
- Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (recent graduates only)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Basic familiarity with a back-end language/runtime (Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET)
- Understanding of REST APIs and relational or NoSQL databases
- Experience with Git/GitHub (version control)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Academic coursework, internships, or personal projects demonstrating coding ability
Nice-to-have
- Internship or project experience building full-stack features
- Exposure to unit and integration testing frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerization (AWS, Azure, Docker)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
