What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to own the parent-facing web and mobile experience end-to-end. You’ll build simple, trust-first interfaces for non-technical users (parents), shape the data model that powers reimbursements and statements, and ship frequent product iterations that measurably improve user outcomes.
- Own parent-facing features: receipts, claims, reimbursements, and statements across web and mobile
- Design and implement trust-first UX for non-technical users
- Lead data modeling efforts and optimize app performance (latency, API patterns) as usage scales
- Run fast experiments (A/B tests), iterate on learnings, and ship to production multiple times per week
- Collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional engineers on product and UX trade-offs
- Travel occasionally to meet users for on-site research and feedback sessions
What We’re Looking For
We’re sourcing a product-minded engineer who moves quickly, cares deeply about UX, and has strong database and modeling instincts.
- Strong full-stack engineering experience with emphasis on databases and data modeling
- Clear product and UX sensibility — you build for clarity and outcomes rather than complexity
- A history of shipping to production regularly (personal projects, side projects, or prior roles)
- High attention to detail and an understanding of user psychology
- Comfortable working autonomously in a flat, high-agency startup environment
- Willingness to meet users in-person for research and validation
- 0–5 years experience. University degree not required if you have a high-signal track record (founded projects, competitive fellowships, award-winning work, etc.)
- Visa sponsorship availability noted by the client
