About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and scale web and mobile products for a transportation and logistics platform that serves construction and material-moving workflows. You'll work closely with product, design, and engineering to deliver APIs, backend services, web and mobile apps, integrations, and production infrastructure. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Salt Lake City, UT metropolitan area with flexibility to work from home part of the time.


What You’ll Do

  • Build, test, deploy, and maintain production web and mobile applications
  • Design and implement APIs, database integrations, and real-time logistics features
  • Translate product requirements and user feedback into reliable, usable solutions
  • Improve platform performance, security, scalability, and reliability
  • Review code, author automated tests, and troubleshoot production incidents
  • Manage releases through Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console
  • Handle app builds, testing tracks, certificates, signing, store documentation, submissions, review feedback, staged rollouts, and production updates
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines for web, iOS, and Android
  • Use Claude and comparable AI development tools responsibly to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and documentation
  • Validate and review AI-generated code before production deployment
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor other engineers as the team grows

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong experience building and maintaining production web and mobile applications
  • Full-stack expertise across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations
  • Hands-on experience releasing mobile apps through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and production deployments
  • Solid understanding of system design, application security, and scalable architecture
  • Demonstrated, responsible use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude) in a production context
  • Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and deliver in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience in logistics, marketplaces, construction technology, fleet management, dispatching, mapping/GPS, or real-time tracking
  • Experience with progressive web apps and native or cross-platform mobile development
  • Prior early-stage startup experience with ownership across projects from concept through production

Location & Work Model

  • Hybrid role based in the Salt Lake City, UT metropolitan area (onsite schedule to be discussed). Flexibility to work from home part-time.
