The Full Stack Engineer at Confidential Client will design and develop scalable, resilient enterprise applications focused on Contact Center and Customer Service platforms using Java, Spring Boot, React, and microservices architecture. What You’ll Do
This Full Stack Engineer role (on-site in Plano, TX) focuses on designing and building scalable, resilient enterprise applications for contact center and customer service platforms. Work with Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs and microservices to deliver high-availability solutions that power agent experiences, workforce management (WFM), omnichannel interactions, routing, and real-time services.
- Design and implement production-grade web applications and microservices (Java, Spring Boot)
- Build responsive front-end features using React or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and event-driven integrations with contact center/WFM platforms
- Implement secure, resilient, and observable systems (monitoring, logging, alerting)
- Write automated unit and integration tests; participate in CI/CD pipelines and code reviews
- Support deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to runbook/operational readiness
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum or SAFe teams with architects, product owners, and engineers
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
Required Qualifications
- 6–9 years of professional software development / full stack engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Proven React or modern JavaScript framework experience for building front-end UIs
- Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs; microservices and distributed systems knowledge
- Experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling
- Familiarity with automated unit and integration testing practices
- Knowledge of CI/CD, observability (logging, metrics, tracing), and production monitoring
- Strong secure-software-engineering practices and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Contact Center / Domain Experience (Highly Desirable)
Experience with one or more of the following will make you a strong fit:
- Contact center / customer service technology platforms and integrations
- Workforce Management (WFM) systems and agent desktop platforms
- IVR, intelligent routing, omnichannel interactions (voice, chat, digital)
- SIP, WebRTC, CTI technologies or real-time communications platforms
- Building real-time customer service applications and agent experiences
Nice to Have
- Event streaming (Apache Kafka) or similar event-driven architectures
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native design patterns
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, Playwright, or React Testing Library
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI tools)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Compensation & Benefits
A reasonable estimate of the current U.S. compensation range for this role is $89,600 to $172,400 per year. Actual pay is based on experience, skills, location, and other business considerations.
