What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on, ownership-focused contract role to complete a consumer mobile product and prepare it for launch. You'll join a small team with the potential to move into a long-term technical leadership or co-founder position if the fit is right.

• Take ownership of remaining frontend and backend work to move the product from ~90% complete to production-ready
• Implement, test, and deploy features for a consumer-facing mobile experience
• Fix bugs, harden edge cases, and improve app stability and performance
• Collaborate with the founder on product decisions, launch planning, and backlog prioritization
• Prepare and document release processes, CI/CD workflows, and basic monitoring/alerts
• Mentor or coordinate with any other contractors or vendors brought onto the project

What We’re Looking For

We want an experienced full-stack developer who is pragmatic, product-focused, and excited about building a consumer mobile business.

• Strong full-stack development experience shipping consumer-facing applications
• Demonstrated ability to take a near-complete product across the finish line
• Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and wearing multiple hats
• Proven track record of delivering production releases, monitoring, and responding to issues
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate closely with the founder
• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.
