What You’ll Do

Confidential Client's Business Digital Banking Engineering team builds and maintains a best‑in‑class platform that helps small businesses and commercial clients manage checking, savings, and treasury needs. As a Full Stack Engineer on this team, you will:

  • Design, build, and iterate on full‑stack features from 0→1 and beyond.
  • Implement backend services and APIs using Python and Django/DRF.
  • Build and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Contribute to mobile experiences (production React Native experience expected).
  • Collaborate with product, design, and QA to ship high‑quality, well‑tested software.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform code reviews, and improve system reliability and performance.

What We’re Looking For (Required)

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years professional software engineering experience (3+ preferred).
  • Production experience across the stack: Python (Django/DRF), React, and TypeScript.
  • Production experience with React Native.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver features end‑to‑end (design, implementation, testing, and deployment).
  • Located in or willing to work in New York City and authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Python (Django/DRF).
  • Prior experience at a startup or in fintech/financial services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability tools.

Compensation & Location

  • Base pay range: $145,000 – $161,000 per year (New York, NY).
  • This position is based in New York City. Relocation or hybrid arrangements may be considered and will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Benefits and total compensation information will be shared with candidates during the hiring process.
