What You’ll Do

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional, production-ready features.
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code with a focus on performance and responsiveness.
• Develop web applications and APIs using microservices architecture (Spring Boot, RESTful services).
• Build near real-time data pipelines using Apache Spark / PySpark and Python to extract from NoSQL stores and load into Cassandra Data Enterprise Graph.
• Build real-time streaming pipelines using Apache Flink, Apache Kafka and Python to integrate relational and NoSQL sources.
• Implement front-end features using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and AngularJS where needed.
• Maintain code quality, automation, and CI/CD processes; write unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito).
• Use version control tools (Git, SVN) and logging frameworks (Log4j2) to support traceability and debugging.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and investigate root causes using logs and telemetry; collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong Java development experience and solid understanding of object-oriented design.
• Production experience with microservices and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with real-time/data pipeline technologies: Apache Spark (PySpark), Apache Flink, Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with Python for data processing.
• Experience with NoSQL databases and Cassandra (Cassandra Data Enterprise Graph a plus).
• Front-end experience with HTML5, JavaScript and AngularJS (or similar frameworks).
• Experience writing unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) and using logging frameworks (Log4j2).
• Comfortable working with Git or SVN and common CI/CD tooling.
• Strong debugging, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Work authorization: candidates who are US Citizens, Green Card holders, or hold valid US work authorization (OPT-EAD, CPT, H-1B, H4-EAD, L2-EAD, GC-EAD) are encouraged to apply.

Employment & contract details: typical engagement is 11 months with possible extension. Engagement types may include W-2, 1099, or C2C depending on client needs.

• Prior exposure to Real Estate domain projects.
