Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Java / AngularJS) with 3–5+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting large-scale enterprise applications. This is a 6-month contract (with potential extension), hybrid role based in Fort Worth, TX (onsite 3 days/week).
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications across the full stack.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Architects, Technical Leads, and other engineers to deliver features on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues; drive root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.
- Participate across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Apply development best practices, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Contribute to application performance tuning, security improvements, and scalability enhancements.
- Work in a cloud-native environment (Cloud Foundry and/or Kubernetes) and follow CI/CD practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Full Stack Development experience.
- Backend: Java / J2EE stack — Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB.
- Frontend: AngularJS, Ext JS, CSS, jQuery, AJAX.
- Experience with cloud-based development and deployments (Cloud Foundry and/or Kubernetes).
- History of working with large-scale, production applications.
- Strong problem-solving ability and clear communication skills.
- IMPORTANT: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or EAD holder.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience applying DDD and TDD in enterprise projects.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and observability tools.
- Experience migrating or modernizing legacy Java/JEE applications.
- Exposure to performance profiling and security hardening.
Logistics & Workplace
- Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension.
- Work model: Hybrid — 3 days onsite per week in Fort Worth, TX.
- Employment type: Contract (short-term assignment; may convert/extend based on needs).
