What You’ll Do
This entry-level Full Stack Engineer role on-site in Chicago, IL will contribute to building and maintaining responsive web applications across the stack. Working with a cross-functional product and engineering team, you'll deliver new features, fix defects, and help improve system reliability and usability.
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components for web applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs and backend services
- Implement responsive user interfaces using modern web technologies
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store and retrieve application data
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and dev issues
- Participate in code reviews and collaborative design sessions
- Assist with application testing, CI/CD, and deployment tasks
- Document application behavior, APIs, and technical changes
- Learn new tools and frameworks as required by projects
What We’re Looking For (Required Qualifications)
The ideal candidate is an early-career developer or recent graduate who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 0–3 years of relevant development experience; fresh graduates are welcome
- Strong programming fundamentals and object‑oriented programming understanding
- Basic experience or coursework in front-end and back-end web development
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web development concepts
- Understanding of REST APIs and basic database fundamentals (SQL)
- Experience using version control (Git)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and take direction from senior engineers
