What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is looking for an entry-level Full Stack Engineer to join a remote-first engineering team. In this role you'll contribute to both front-end and back-end development, collaborate closely with product and design, and ship features that impact real users. This is a great opportunity for recent grads or engineers with up to two years of experience who want strong mentorship and hands-on growth.
- Design, build, and maintain user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks (primarily React).
- Implement and maintain back-end services and APIs (Node.js or similar).
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to model and query data.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Follow best practices for testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD.
- Learn cloud platform basics (AWS/Azure) and support deployments and monitoring.
- Attend regular stand-ups, pair-programming sessions, and virtual team meetings in a distributed environment.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a solid foundation and the eagerness to grow quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Exposure to back-end development (Node.js, Python, or similar)
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience with Git/version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Self-starter who can work effectively in a remote environment
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and follow engineering best practices
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Internship or academic projects using React + Node.js
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker)
