Full Stack Engineer
The Full Stack Engineer at Confidential Client will develop and ship full-stack applications and tools to support cutting-edge AI models, working closely with the AI lab's engineering team. This role requires hands-on experience across multiple programming languages and the full software stack, including front-end frameworks, backend services, databases, and cloud deployment. The engineer will rapidly prototype, integrate pre-release model APIs, diagnose issues, and contribute high-quality code in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring Full Stack Engineers to join a GenAI-focused engineering team building and integrating frontier AI models into production software. You’ll work on fast-moving projects, ship working code early, and help translate engineering feedback to research teams.
- Build, ship, and maintain full-stack applications, services, and internal tools using Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++, or TypeScript.
- Integrate pre-release model APIs and surrounding scaffolding (tool interfaces, evaluation harnesses, telemetry).
- Exercise frontier model capabilities end-to-end in production-like scenarios and stress tests.
- Diagnose, reproduce, and document model and integration failure modes; provide clear, actionable written feedback to research and engineering teams.
- Rapidly prototype against shifting requirements and deliver working increments with limited upfront specification.
- Collaborate with the engineering manager and other engineers to maintain code quality, architecture consistency, and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience building and shipping production software at a recognized organization.
- Production experience in at least one of: Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++, or TypeScript — plus working proficiency in a second language.
- Hands-on experience across the stack: backend services/APIs, a modern frontend framework (React or equivalent), relational or document databases, and cloud deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to onboard quickly into unfamiliar codebases and deliver working code with minimal ramp-up.
- Clear written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical decisions.
- Demonstrable career progression and reliability to engage for a full-time commitment (40 hours/week during weekdays).
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $50–$65 per hour.
- Employment type: Full-time (40 hours/week).
- Start date: ASAP.
