What You’ll Do

This Full Stack Engineer (Application Software) role will design, build, and maintain mission-critical application software used across the client’s manufacturing and flight operations. You’ll partner with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality, reliable systems that scale.

• Develop highly reliable application software used across the organization
• Create new web applications and backend services that improve operational efficiency
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts and technical constraints
• Own full lifecycle software development: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Deep dive into user workflows to deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions
• Participate in architecture and code reviews; share technical leadership across the team

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
• Demonstrated experience in full stack development (front-end + backend)

Preferred Skills & Experience

Candidates who bring the following will be highly competitive — we list real technologies used by the team:

• Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar object-oriented languages
• 1+ years building single-page web applications (Angular, React, or similar)
• Experience with version control, CI/CD, build and packaging tools (Make, Bazel/Pants/Buck, Gradle; pip, npm)
• Strong software design and system architecture skills
• Deep understanding of testing, CI, build, deployment, and monitoring pipelines
• Expertise in profiling and improving application performance
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with UNIX-like operating systems and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
• Experience with in-stream data processing technologies (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Experience working on high-reliability production systems

• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Ability to pass required background checks for work at client facilities in Florida
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset; ability to work respectfully across multidisciplinary teams
