Role overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Experienced Associate-level Operations Consultant to join their Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) operations team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on improving operational efficiency across wealth and asset management functions. You will support project delivery, analyze processes and data, and help implement practical solutions that reduce risk and increase productivity.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to projects across asset and wealth management operations, including middle- and back-office processes
• Analyze client processes, transaction lifecycles, and data to identify improvement opportunities
• Support development of operational recommendations and implementation plans
• Use project management tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results
• Participate in client meetings, prepare deliverables, and present findings to stakeholders
• Learn and apply new technologies and data systems to support project outcomes
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and support senior staff in delivering high-quality work

Qualifications — Must have

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 1 year of experience in management consulting, financial services, or asset/wealth management operations
• Ability to gather and analyze information from multiple sources and identify patterns
• Strong communication skills — able to ask clarifying questions, synthesize information, and present ideas clearly
• Demonstrated teamwork and a learning mindset; willingness to adapt in a fast-paced client environment

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree (MBA or related field) or advanced study in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or similar
• Experience with wealth management and asset management operating models
• Familiarity with transaction lifecycles for financial services products and middle/back-office operations
• Experience using project management software and basic data tools
• Comfort learning new technologies, data systems, and analyzing business requirements
• Exposure to global organizational trends in financial services

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000 (actual pay dependent on experience, qualifications, and location)
• Annual discretionary bonus eligibility
