Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) for a structured, hands-on engineering program focused on AI-augmented software delivery. This program is designed for recent graduates and early-career technologists who want to develop practical skills across AI-assisted development, software engineering, cloud, automation, and modern delivery practices while working in small cross-functional pods.

Responsibilities
As a Frontier Certified Engineer you will:
- Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code in collaboration with teammates and AI tools
- Support development of AI-enabled applications, automation, and data-driven workflows
- Evaluate AI outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support
- Help build knowledge systems and retrieval workflows that improve AI experiences
- Collaborate within a small, cross-functional pod to deliver customer outcomes
- Apply responsible-AI principles and engineering best practices
- Participate in technical training, workshops, certifications, and hands-on projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Recent graduate or early‑career professional with technical experience from coursework, internships, co‑ops, research, military experience, certifications, hackathons, capstone projects, or personal projects
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud, AI, data engineering, or automation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in emerging technology domains
- Ownership mindset and accountability for delivering quality work
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar languages
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, or prompt engineering
- Knowledge of APIs, automation platforms, databases, or data engineering concepts
- Experience with Git and collaborative source‑control workflows
- Academic or internship project experience in software, AI, cloud, or automation
- Interest in responsible AI and continuous technical learning
Training & Certification
- Complete assessment(s) covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals
- Participate in the Frontier engineering bootcamp and hands‑on pod projects
- Continue technical learning through certifications, workshops, and Frontier development programs
- Work alongside experienced practitioners to build capabilities for AI-native systems and client solutions
Total Compensation
- Base salary: $100,000 per year (as stated by the client)
- Eligible for discretionary, performance-based bonus and benefits that support physical, mental, and financial wellbeing

Location & Work Arrangement
- This role is a hybrid opportunity with on-site requirements tied to client or Confidential Client offices (role description references an office in Toronto, ON with approximately 3 days/week on-site).
