Overview
Confidential Client is seeking entry-level engineers to join a Frontier-style engineering program focused on AI-enabled delivery. This role is designed for recent graduates and early-career technologists who want structured training, hands-on bootcamp experience, and mentorship while contributing to real client projects that combine AI, cloud, software engineering, data, and automation.
This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, ON (3 days/week onsite) and requires legal authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Learn and use AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code in collaboration with teammates and AI tools
- Support development of AI-enabled applications, workflows, and automation solutions
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance
- Help build knowledge systems, retrieval workflows, and data-driven AI solutions
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support
- Collaborate in small cross-functional pods to deliver customer outcomes
- Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices
- Participate in training, certifications, and hands-on learning experiences
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with relevant technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military service, certifications, hackathons, capstone or personal projects
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud, AI, data engineering, or automation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in team environments
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn quickly
- Ownership mindset and accountability for delivering high-quality work
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, or prompt engineering
- Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, and data engineering concepts
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Academic, internship, open-source, or personal projects involving AI, cloud, or software engineering
- Interest in responsible AI and continuous technical learning
Training & Certification
- Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp with hands-on project work in a collaborative pod
- Continue participating in ongoing technical learning and certification programs
Compensation & Logistics
- Base salary: $100,000 per year
- Eligible for discretionary annual performance-based bonus and benefits
- Location: Hybrid — requires approximately 3 days per week in a client or Confidential Client office in Toronto, ON
- Start date: New hires will start in September 2026 (final start date depends on business need and availability)
