Overview
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) as part of a next-generation engineering program focused on AI-augmented delivery. This program combines structured training, hands-on bootcamp experience, mentorship, and real client work to help early-career technologists build skills in AI-assisted development, cloud, software engineering, automation, and modern delivery practices.

Responsibilities
As a Frontier Certified Engineer, you will:
- Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies to build and improve software solutions
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code while collaborating with teammates and AI-powered tools
- Support the development of AI-enabled applications, automation, and data-driven workflows
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, performance, and business relevance
- Help build knowledge systems, retrieval workflows, and data solutions that improve AI experiences
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support
- Collaborate within a small, cross-functional pod to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes
- Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices
- Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and delivery approaches
- Participate in technical training, certifications, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military experience, certifications, hackathons, capstone projects, personal projects, or similar hands-on experiences
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, data engineering, automation, or related fields
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn quickly in emerging technology domains
- Ownership mindset and accountability for delivering high-quality work

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar
- Exposure to cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools
- Exposure to APIs, automation platforms, databases, and data engineering concepts
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git and collaborative development practices
- Experience with academic, personal, or internship projects involving software development, AI, cloud, data, or automation
- Interest in responsible AI and continuous technical learning
Training & Certification
- Complete the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp with hands-on project work in a collaborative pod
- Participate in ongoing technical learning, certifications, and program development activities
- Work alongside experienced practitioners to build skills required for AI-native client solutions
Total Compensation & Work Arrangement
- Base salary: $100,000 per year
- Eligible for the client’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus and benefits that support physical, mental, and financial wellbeing
- Working arrangement noted in the original posting: hybrid (3 days/week in a client or local office). Exact location and final working arrangement will be confirmed at offer and may vary based on client/project requirements.
