What You’ll Do
This entry-level engineering role is designed for early-career technologists who want hands-on experience building AI-enabled software and automation. Working in a small, cross-functional pod, you will learn to collaborate with AI-assisted development tools to deliver code, data workflows, and other engineering artifacts that produce measurable business outcomes.
- Learn to use AI-assisted development tools, large language models, and toolchains to accelerate software delivery
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code in collaboration with teammates and AI tools
- Support development of AI-enabled applications, automation workflows, and data solutions
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support
- Help build knowledge retrieval systems and data-driven components that improve AI experiences
- Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices
- Participate in technical training, certifications, and hands-on engineering bootcamps
Who We’re Looking For
We’re focused on recent graduates and early-career professionals who are excited about AI, cloud, software engineering, and continuous learning. This position is entry-level — you do not need professional AI experience to apply.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, apprenticeships, military service, capstone projects, hackathons, certifications, or personal projects
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team
- Curiosity, adaptability, ownership mindset, and eagerness to learn quickly
Preferred (not required)
- Experience with one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with generative AI, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted dev tools
- Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, and software development practices
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative source control workflows
Training & Certification
- Complete a structured onboarding program and hands-on engineering bootcamp
- Pass a center-of-excellence assessment covering AI foundations, cloud, software engineering, infrastructure, and delivery fundamentals
- Earn program certifications and continue professional development via workshops and mentorship
Compensation & Location
- Base salary: $100,000 per year
- Eligible for discretionary annual performance-based bonus and benefits that support physical, mental, and financial wellbeing
- Work model: Hybrid — requires 3 days per week in a client or confidential client office in Toronto, ON
- Start date: September 2026 (exact start will be confirmed during offer stage)
