Position Overview
This is an entry-level Frontier Certified Engineer (FCE) role with a confidential client in the IT industry. The program is designed for recent graduates or early-career technologists who want structured training in AI-augmented software engineering, hands-on bootcamp experience, and the opportunity to work on real client delivery within small, cross-functional pods.

Key Responsibilities
As a Frontier Certified Engineer you will:
- Learn and use AI-assisted development tools to design, build, test, and maintain software
- Write, test, debug, and document code with support from teammates and AI tools
- Support development of AI-enabled applications, workflows, and automation
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, quality, and business relevance
- Contribute to knowledge systems, retrieval workflows, and data-driven solutions
- Assist with testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational support
- Collaborate in a small, cross-functional pod to deliver customer outcomes
- Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices
- Participate in ongoing technical training, certifications, and workshops
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, military service, certifications, hackathons, capstones, or relevant projects
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud, AI, data engineering, or automation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work on a team
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a rapid learning mindset
- Ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality work
Preferred Qualifications
(Helpful but not required)
- Experience with one or more: Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar languages
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools
- Knowledge of APIs, automation platforms, databases, software methodologies, or data engineering concepts
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices
- Prior academic, internship, or personal projects in software development, AI, cloud, or automation
Training & Certification
- Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment (AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals)
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp with hands-on pod-based projects
- Participate in ongoing technical learning and Frontier certification programs
Location & Start Date
This position is expected to be based in one of the following office locations; associates must work from an office and follow hybrid expectations:
- Plano, TX
- Charlotte, NC
- Teaneck, NJ
- Bridgewater, NJ
Start date: Summer 2026. Relocation assistance is not provided — candidates should be located in or able to relocate to one of the listed locations at their own expense.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary: $100,000 USD (Associate-level)
- May be eligible for the confidential client’s discretionary annual incentive program, subject to plan terms

Work Authorization
The confidential client cannot sponsor U.S. work authorization for this role, including CPT/OPT. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
