About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) to join a next-generation engineering program focused on AI-augmented software delivery. This is an early-career, full-time opportunity for candidates excited about software engineering, cloud technologies, AI-assisted development, and continuous learning. The program combines structured training, hands-on bootcamp work, mentorship, and real client projects to develop practical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies to build and improve software solutions
  • Write, test, debug, and enhance code in collaboration with teammates and AI-powered tools
  • Support development of AI-enabled applications, workflows, and automation solutions
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, performance, and business relevance
  • Contribute to retrieval workflows, knowledge systems, and data-driven solutions that improve AI experiences
  • Assist with testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support activities
  • Work within a small, cross-functional pod to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes
  • Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices
  • Participate in technical training, certifications, and hands-on learning experiences

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military experience, certifications, hackathons, capstone projects, personal projects, or similar
  • Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, data engineering, or automation
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a strong willingness to learn quickly
  • Ownership mindset and accountability for delivering high-quality work

Preferred Qualifications

(The following are preferred but not required. Candidates are encouraged to apply even if they have only some of these experiences.)

  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools
  • Exposure to APIs, automation platforms, databases, or data engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with source control tools such as Git and collaborative development practices
  • Coursework or project experience involving software development, AI, cloud, data, or automation technologies
  • Interest in responsible AI and continuous technical learning

Training & Certification

  • Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals
  • Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp with hands-on project work in a collaborative pod
  • Participate in ongoing technical learning and Frontier engineering development programs
  • Earn Frontier certifications and develop the skills required to contribute to AI-native client solutions

Locations & Start Date

This position is based in one of the following office locations; associates are expected to work from one of these offices and follow applicable hybrid work expectations:

  • Plano, TX
  • Charlotte, NC
  • Teaneck, NJ
  • Bridgewater, NJ

Start date: Summer 2026. Candidates should apply only if they are currently located in, or able to relocate at their own expense to, one of the listed locations. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.


Salary & Benefits

  • Base annual salary: $100,000 USD (Associate-level)
  • May be eligible for discretionary annual incentive program based on performance and plan terms
