About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) to join an AI-enabled engineering program focused on software, cloud, data, automation, and responsible AI practices. This structured early-career role includes training, mentorship, hands-on bootcamp experience, and work on client-facing projects in collaborative, cross-functional pods.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and integrate emerging engineering technologies
  • Write, test, debug, and enhance code alongside teammates and AI tools
  • Support development of AI-enabled applications, automation, and data-driven solutions
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance
  • Contribute to deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support
  • Collaborate within a small, cross-functional pod to deliver customer outcomes
  • Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices
  • Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and delivery approaches

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, military experience, certifications, capstone projects, hackathons, personal projects, or similar hands-on activities
  • Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, AI, data engineering, or automation
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate in team-oriented environments and demonstrated ownership mindset
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn quickly

Preferred Qualifications

These are helpful but not required — applicants are encouraged to apply even if they don’t meet all preferred items.

  • Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools
  • Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, and data engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with source control (Git) and collaborative development practices
  • Project experience from internships, coursework, open-source, or personal projects

Training & Certification

  • Complete the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals
  • Participate in the Frontier engineering bootcamp with hands-on project work in pod settings
  • Ongoing technical learning, certifications, and development programs provided

Location & Start Date

  • This role is expected to be onsite / hybrid at one of the following U.S. office locations: Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; Teaneck, NJ; Bridgewater, NJ.
  • Associates should be located in—or able to relocate at their own expense to—one of these locations. Relocation assistance is not provided.
  • Expected start date: Summer 2026.

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual base salary: $100,000 USD.
  • May be eligible for the client’s discretionary annual incentive program, subject to plan terms.
