Overview

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level engineers into its Frontier Certified Engineer (FCE) program — a hands-on, structured training and delivery program focused on AI-augmented engineering. This program is designed for recent graduates and early-career technologists who want practical experience with AI-assisted development, cloud platforms, software engineering, and modern delivery practices.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and collaborate with AI-powered workflows
  • Write, test, debug, and improve code under guidance from senior engineers and pod teammates
  • Support development of AI-enabled applications, automation, and data-driven solutions
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance
  • Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support tasks
  • Build knowledge systems and retrieval workflows that improve AI experiences
  • Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices
  • Participate actively in technical training, certifications, and collaborative pod delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional (relevant experience via coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military service, certifications, capstone projects, hackathons, or personal projects)
  • Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, AI, automation, or related fields
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate in team-oriented environments and a growth mindset
  • Ownership mentality and accountability for delivering high-quality work

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, or prompt engineering
  • Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, or data engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with source control (Git) and collaborative development practices
  • Academic or personal projects involving software development, AI, cloud, or automation

Training, Start Date & Locations

  • Complete the Frontier bootcamp and pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, cloud, software engineering, infrastructure, and delivery fundamentals
  • Start date: Summer 2026 (exact dates provided during hiring process)
  • Location: This role requires working from one of the program locations: Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; Teaneck, NJ; or Bridgewater, NJ. Associates should be located in—or able to relocate at their own expense to—one of these offices and follow hybrid work expectations. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary: $100,000 USD (Associate-level)
  • May be eligible for discretionary annual incentive based on performance and plan terms
