Overview
Confidential Client’s Frontier program is focused on building the AI‑augmented enterprise. Engineering pods combine AI, software engineering, cloud, data, quality, infrastructure, and operations to create intelligent solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. As a Frontier Certified Engineer (FCE), you’ll join an entry-level, hands-on program designed to train early‑career technologists to collaborate with AI-powered development tools and deliver real client impact.
What You’ll Do
- Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies to build and improve software solutions
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code while collaborating with teammates and AI-powered tools
- Support development of AI-enabled applications, workflows, and automation solutions
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, performance, and business relevance
- Help build knowledge systems, retrieval workflows, and data-driven components that improve AI experiences
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support activities
- Collaborate within a small, cross-functional pod to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes
- Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices
- Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and delivery approaches through structured training and hands-on experience

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Recent graduate or early‑career professional with technical experience from practical projects, internships, research, military experience, or similar
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, AI, data engineering, or automation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team‑oriented environment
- Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn quickly
- Ownership mindset and accountability for delivering high‑quality work
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI‑assisted development tools
- Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, or data engineering concepts
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Project experience from internships, academic work, open source, or personal projects involving software, AI, cloud, or data
Training & Certification
- Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp with hands‑on project work in a collaborative pod
- Participate in ongoing technical learning and Frontier engineering development programs
Compensation & Location
- Base salary: $100,000 per year (as stated by the client)
- Eligible for discretionary annual performance‑based bonus and benefits supporting physical, mental, and financial wellbeing
- This role is expected to follow a hybrid working model; specific on‑site requirements will be discussed by the client during recruitment and may vary by project
- Start date: New hires are expected to start in September 2026
