Overview
Confidential Client seeks entry-level engineers for a structured Frontier Certified Engineer (FCE) program focused on AI-augmented software delivery. This is an early-career, full-time Associate opportunity designed for recent graduates and professionals who want hands-on training across AI, cloud, software engineering, automation, and modern delivery practices. The role includes a training bootcamp, mentorship, certifications, and project experience within cross-functional pods.

Key Responsibilities
- Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies to build and improve software solutions.
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code while collaborating with teammates and AI-powered tools.
- Support development of AI-enabled applications, workflows, and automation solutions.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, performance, and business relevance.
- Help build knowledge systems, retrieval workflows, and data-driven solutions that improve AI experiences.
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support activities.
- Collaborate within a small, cross-functional pod to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices.
- Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and delivery approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Recent graduate or early-career professional (coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military experience, certifications, capstone projects, hackathons, or relevant projects).
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, data engineering, or automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a rapid learning mindset.
- Ownership mindset and accountability for delivering high-quality work.
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience with one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar.
- Exposure to cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted dev tools.
- Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, and data engineering concepts.
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Project experience from academics, internships, open-source, personal projects, or hackathons.
- Interest in responsible AI and continuous technical development.
Training & Certification Requirements
- Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment (AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals).
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp with hands-on project work in a collaborative pod.
- Participate in ongoing certifications, workshops, and Frontier learning programs.
- Work alongside experienced practitioners to build skills for AI-native systems and client solutions.
Location & Start Date
- This role is based in one of the following office locations: Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; Teaneck, NJ; or Bridgewater, NJ.
- Associates are expected to work from one of these offices and follow applicable hybrid work expectations.
- Relocation assistance is not provided; apply only if you are currently located in, or can relocate at your own expense to, one of these locations.
- Expected start: Summer 2026. Exact start dates will be communicated in advance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $100,000 USD (Associate-level).
- May be eligible for discretionary annual incentive (per client plans and subject to terms).
