As a Frontier Certified Engineer (FCE), you’ll join an entry-level, hands-on engineering program that emphasizes practical training, mentorship, and working in small cross-functional pods to deliver real business impact using AI-assisted development practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies to build and improve software solutions
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code while collaborating with teammates and AI-powered tools
- Support development of AI-enabled applications, automation workflows, and data-driven solutions
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support
- Participate in pod-based delivery to achieve customer and business outcomes
- Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices
- Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and delivery approaches
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with practical technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military experience, certifications, hackathons, capstone projects, or personal projects
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, data engineering, or automation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Curiosity, adaptability, ownership mindset, and a willingness to learn quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools
- Exposure to APIs, automation platforms, databases, and software development methodologies
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git
- Hands-on project experience from internships, academic projects, or open-source contributions
Training & Certification
- Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp and collaborative pod project work
- Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and professional development with Frontier practitioners
Locations & Start Date
This position expects in-office attendance in one of the following locations with applicable hybrid expectations:
- Plano, TX
- Charlotte, NC
- Teaneck, NJ
- Bridgewater, NJ

Salary & Benefits
- Annual base salary: $100,000 USD
- May be eligible for discretionary annual incentive compensation per company plans
