About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) to join a next-generation engineering program focused on AI-augmented software delivery. This role is designed for recent graduates and early-career technologists who want structured training, hands-on experience, and mentorship while contributing to real client work that uses AI, cloud, and modern engineering practices.
What You’ll Do
- Learn and apply AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering techniques to build production-quality solutions.
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code as part of a small cross-functional pod.
- Support development of AI-enabled applications, automation workflows, and data-driven features.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, performance, and business relevance.
- Help build knowledge systems, retrieval workflows, and data pipelines that improve AI experiences.
- Participate in deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support tasks.
- Follow responsible AI principles and engineering best practices.
- Complete training, certifications, and hands-on bootcamp projects; collaborate with experienced engineers and AI practitioners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military experience, certifications, capstone projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, AI, data engineering or automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in team settings.
- Curiosity, adaptability, ownership mindset, and eagerness to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with one or more languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, and modern software development workflows.
- Comfortable using source control (Git) and collaborative development practices.
- Practical project experience from internships, coursework, or personal projects.
Training & Certification
- Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business basics.
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp and hands-on pod projects.
- Participate in ongoing learning, certifications, and technical development programs while working alongside experienced practitioners.
Locations & Start Date
This role is expected to be based at one of the following U.S. office locations: Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; Teaneck, NJ; or Bridgewater, NJ. Associates are expected to follow hybrid work expectations at the selected office. Relocation assistance is not provided — please apply only if you are currently located in, or can relocate at your own expense to, one of the listed locations.
Frontier Certified Engineers are expected to begin employment in Summer 2026. Exact start dates will be communicated to selected candidates with sufficient notice.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $100,000 USD (Associate-level).

Work Authorization
