Confidential Client is hiring Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) — an entry-level, full-time IT program focused on AI-augmented engineering. This role combines structured training, hands-on bootcamp experience, mentorship, and client delivery exposure to help early-career technologists develop software, cloud, and AI skills.

Who We’re Looking For

We encourage applications from recent graduates and early-career technologists who:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Have technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, military service, certifications, capstone projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally and collaborate well in team settings.
• Show curiosity, adaptability, an ownership mindset, and a willingness to learn quickly.
• Are excited about software development, cloud, data, automation, and AI-enabled engineering.

Responsibilities

As a Frontier Certified Engineer you will:

• Learn to use AI‑assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies.
• Write, test, debug, and improve code in collaboration with teammates and AI tools.
• Support development of AI-enabled applications, automated workflows, and data-driven solutions.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance.
• Help build knowledge systems, retrieval flows, and data components that improve AI experiences.
• Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support.
• Work in a small cross-functional pod to deliver client and business outcomes.
• Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices.
• Continuously learn new tools, cloud services, and delivery approaches.
• Participate in training, certifications, workshops, and hands-on projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (CS, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related).
• Recent graduate or early-career professional with practical technical experience (internships, coursework, projects, military experience, etc.).
• Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud, AI, data engineering, or automation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented collaboration skills, curiosity, adaptability, and accountability.

Preferred (not required) Qualifications

The following are helpful but not required — candidates should apply even if they have partial experience:

• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, and data engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development practices.
• Project experience from internships, academic work, open-source, or personal projects.

Training & Certification

• Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment (AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, business fundamentals).
• Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp and hands-on pod projects.
• Continue professional development through technical learning and certifications while working alongside experienced practitioners.

Location & Start Date

This role is office-based (hybrid expectations) at one of the following U.S. locations: Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; Teaneck, NJ; Bridgewater, NJ. Candidates must be located in — or able to relocate at their own expense to — one of these offices. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Start date: Summer 2026. Exact start dates will be provided with sufficient notice.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $100,000 USD (Associate-level).
• May be eligible for discretionary annual incentive program (subject to plan terms).
