Confidential Client (IT) is hiring entry-level Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) to join an AI-enabled engineering program focused on software engineering, cloud, data, automation, and AI-assisted development. This role is designed for recent graduates and early-career technologists who want structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experience building AI-native solutions.

Responsibilities

As a Frontier Certified Engineer, you will:

• Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering technologies to build software solutions.
• Write, test, debug, and improve code while collaborating with teammates and AI-powered tools.
• Support development of AI-enabled applications, automation workflows, and data-driven solutions.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance.
• Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support tasks.
• Collaborate within a small, cross-functional pod to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
• Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices.
• Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and delivery approaches.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military experience, certifications, hackathons, capstone projects, or personal projects.
• Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, data engineering, or automation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn quickly.
• Ownership mindset and accountability for delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications

(Preferred, not required — we encourage applicants with partial experience.)

• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, or prompt engineering.
• Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, or data engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Academic or internship project experience involving AI, cloud, data, or automation.

Training & Certification

• Pass the program assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals.
• Complete the engineering bootcamp with hands-on project work in a collaborative pod environment.
• Participate in ongoing technical learning, professional certifications, and Frontier engineering development programs.

Location & Start Date

This position is based in one of the following U.S. office locations. Associates are expected to work from one of these offices and follow applicable hybrid work expectations:

• Plano, TX
• Charlotte, NC
• Teaneck, NJ
• Bridgewater, NJ

Start Date: Summer 2026. Exact start dates will be communicated in advance.

Salary & Benefits

• Base salary: $100,000 USD per year (Associate-level).
• May be eligible for discretionary annual incentive program, subject to plan terms.
