About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) to join an AI-enabled engineering program that blends software engineering, cloud, data, automation, and AI-assisted development. This role is designed for recent graduates and early-career technologists who want structured training, hands-on mentorship, and real-world project experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and collaborate with AI agents to build software solutions.
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code as part of a small cross-functional pod.
- Support development of AI-enabled applications, automation workflows, and integration with APIs and data systems.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance.
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support.
- Apply responsible-AI principles and engineering best practices.
- Participate in continuous learning, certifications, and hands-on project work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with hands-on technical experience from coursework, internships, research, military experience, apprenticeships, capstone projects, hackathons, certifications, or personal projects.
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud, AI, data engineering, or automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate on teams.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset with an ownership mentality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with version control (Git), APIs, automation platforms, databases, or data engineering concepts.
- Project experience from internships, coursework, or open-source contributions is a plus.
Training & Certification
- Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals.
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp with hands-on project work in a collaborative pod environment.
- Participate in ongoing Frontier certifications, workshops, and learning programs.

This role hires associates to work from one of these office locations and follow applicable hybrid work expectations:

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $100,000 USD (Associate-level)
- May be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.

Start Date & Work Authorization
- Expected start: Summer 2026. Exact start dates will be provided with sufficient notice.
