About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) to join a next-generation engineering program focused on AI-augmented software delivery. This is an early-career, full-time role where you’ll receive structured training, mentorship, and hands-on project experience building AI-enabled solutions alongside experienced engineers and AI practitioners.

Who We’re Looking For

Professional AI experience is not required — this program trains engineers to work with AI-powered development tools.
Responsibilities
As a Frontier Certified Engineer, you will:
- Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering technologies to build and improve software solutions.
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code while collaborating with teammates and AI-powered tools.
- Support the development of AI-enabled applications, workflows, and automation solutions.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance.
- Help build retrieval workflows, knowledge systems, and data-driven solutions that improve AI experiences.
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support tasks.
- Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices.
- Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and certification programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience from academic or practical projects.
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, AI, data engineering, or automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings and learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, and software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Training & Certification
- Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, delivery, and business fundamentals.
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp with hands-on project work in a collaborative pod.
- Participate in ongoing technical learning and certification programs while working alongside experienced practitioners.
Location & Start Date
This position is based in one of the following U.S. office locations: Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; Teaneck, NJ; or Bridgewater, NJ. Associates are expected to work from one of these offices and follow hybrid work expectations. Relocation assistance is not provided. Start date is expected Summer 2026.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $100,000 USD.
- This role may be eligible for discretionary annual incentive compensation subject to plan terms.
