About the Program
Confidential Client's Frontier program builds AI-augmented engineering teams that combine AI, software engineering, cloud, data, quality, infrastructure, and operations to deliver measurable business outcomes. As a Frontier Certified Engineer (FCE), you’ll join an entry-level cohort designed to train early-career technologists to work alongside AI-powered tools and collaborative engineering pods to solve real client problems.

What You’ll Do
- Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies to build and improve software solutions
- Write, test, debug, and enhance code in collaboration with teammates and AI tools
- Help develop AI-enabled applications, workflows, and automation solutions
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance
- Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support
- Build knowledge systems and retrieval workflows to improve AI experiences
- Work within a cross-functional pod to deliver measurable customer outcomes
- Continuously learn new tools, cloud platforms, and delivery approaches
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with hands-on technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military experience, certifications, hackathons, capstone projects, or personal projects
- Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud, AI, data engineering, automation, or related fields
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively on small teams
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a strong willingness to learn
- Ownership mindset and accountability for delivering high-quality work
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with one or more programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar
- Exposure to cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted dev tools
- Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, and data engineering concepts
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git and collaborative development practices
- Academic, internship, or personal projects involving AI, software, cloud, data, or automation
Training & Certification
- Pass the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment (AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, business fundamentals)
- Complete the Frontier engineering bootcamp and hands-on project work within a collaborative pod
- Participate in ongoing technical learning and certifications while working alongside Frontier practitioners
Total Compensation
- Base salary: $100,000 per year (as stated by the hiring organization)
- Eligible for discretionary annual performance-based bonus and benefits that support physical, mental, and financial wellbeing
Location & Work Arrangement
- Hybrid role requiring in-office presence based on business needs (the source indicates a hybrid arrangement). Final work-location expectations and arrangements will be communicated during hiring and onboarding.
