Overview

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level engineers to join a Frontier Certified Engineer (FCE) program focused on AI-augmented delivery. This role provides structured training, mentorship, and hands-on bootcamp experience to build skills in AI-assisted development, cloud, software engineering, and automation. Candidates will work in small, cross-functional pods to deliver measurable client outcomes while learning modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering technologies.
  • Write, test, debug, and improve code collaboratively with teammates and AI-powered tools.
  • Support the development of AI-enabled applications, automation, and data-driven solutions.
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance.
  • Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support.
  • Build and maintain knowledge retrieval workflows and data systems that improve AI experiences.
  • Apply responsible AI principles and follow engineering best practices.
  • Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and delivery approaches.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional with hands-on technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military experience, capstones, hackathons, certifications, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
  • Demonstrated interest in software development, cloud technologies, AI, data engineering, or automation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, ownership mindset, and a willingness to learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

  • Experience with one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, software development methodologies, or data engineering concepts.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative source-control workflows.
  • Relevant academic, internship, or personal projects in software development, AI, cloud, data, or automation.

Training & Certification

  • Complete the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, delivery, and business fundamentals.
  • Finish the Frontier engineering bootcamp and hands-on project work within a collaborative pod.
  • Participate in ongoing technical learning, certifications, and development programs alongside experienced practitioners.

Location & Start Date

  • This hiring effort lists multiple office locations; candidates should confirm location specifics during the application process. Associates are expected to follow applicable on-site or hybrid work expectations.
  • Start timeframe: Summer 2026.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $100,000 USD per year (Associate-level).
  • May be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive per Confidential Client plans.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid holidays and PTO, 401(k), disability coverage, paid parental leave, employee stock purchase plan, learning & development programs, and wellness resources.

Work Authorization

  • Confidential Client is unable to provide U.S. work-authorization sponsorship for this role (including CPT/OPT). Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
