Overview

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Frontier Certified Engineers (FCE) to join a next-generation engineering program focused on AI-augmented delivery. This role is designed for recent graduates and early-career technologists who want structured onboarding, hands-on bootcamp experience, mentoring, and exposure to AI, cloud, software engineering, automation, and modern delivery practices.


What You’ll Do

  • Learn to use AI-assisted development tools and agents to design, build, test, and deploy software solutions.
  • Write, test, debug, and enhance code as part of small, cross-functional pods.
  • Support development of AI-enabled applications, automation workflows, and data-driven features.
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance.
  • Help build knowledge systems, retrieval workflows, and data solutions to improve AI experiences.
  • Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational support tasks.
  • Apply responsible AI principles and engineering best practices.
  • Participate in trainings, certifications, and hands-on project work during the Frontier bootcamp and beyond.

Who Should Apply

This is an entry-level opportunity intended for recent graduates and early-career professionals who demonstrate:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Technical experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, research, military service, certifications, capstone projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication and the ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a strong learning mindset.
  • Ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality work.

Professional AI experience is not required — structured training and mentorship are provided.


Preferred (not required) Skills

  • Experience with one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience with APIs, automation platforms, databases, and data engineering concepts.
  • Familiarity with source control (Git) and collaborative development practices.

Training & Certification

  • Complete the Frontier Center of Excellence assessment covering AI foundations, software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, production delivery, and business fundamentals.
  • Participate in a hands-on engineering bootcamp and collaborative pod-based project work.
  • Earn Frontier certifications and continue technical development through workshops and formal learning programs.

Location & Work Model

This opportunity is based in one of the following office locations: Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; Teaneck, NJ; or Bridgewater, NJ. Associates are expected to work from one of these offices and follow hybrid work expectations. Relocation assistance is not provided; apply only if you currently reside in or can relocate to one of these cities at your own expense.


Start Date

Start is expected in Summer 2026. Exact dates will be communicated with sufficient notice for planning.


Compensation

  • Annual base salary: $100,000 USD for this Associate-level role.
  • May be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on performance, subject to plan terms.
