What You’ll Do
This opportunity is for a Freelance UX/UI Designer (Remote) to deliver user-centered product interfaces and interactive experiences for a confidential client. You will work remotely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to translate requirements into clear UX flows and polished UI designs.
- Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile products
- Translate user research and product requirements into usable design solutions
- Build and maintain UI components and design patterns that scale across products
- Iterate on designs rapidly based on stakeholder and user feedback
- Collaborate closely with engineers during handoffs to ensure design intent is implemented
- Ensure responsive and accessible experiences across platforms
Responsibilities
- Lead design for features from discovery through to handoff
- Produce deliverables such as annotated wireframes, clickable prototypes, and visual assets
- Communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional teams
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback quickly
- Maintain design documentation and contribute to a shared design system
Required Qualifications
- Proven portfolio of UX/UI work demonstrating end-to-end product design
- Strong interaction and visual design skills for both web and mobile
- Experience producing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Comfortable collaborating in remote, cross-functional teams and delivering on deadlines
- Familiarity with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and basic handoff processes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience working on product teams in a freelance/contract capacity
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and responsive design patterns
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system
Contract Details
