Role overview

Confidential Client is seeking an experienced associate-level FP&A Consultant to join a Finance Solutions team supporting clients across Accounting & Finance functions. In this role you will analyze financial data, build models and forecasts, and help design performance-management frameworks that improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

What you’ll do

• Analyze financial data and develop KPIs and performance metrics to support strategic objectives
• Design and implement performance management frameworks and process improvements
• Provide guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning best practices
• Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and strategic initiatives
• Use financial systems and data-visualization tools to produce insights and clear reports for clients
• Monitor financial trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored financial solutions
• Gather and synthesize information from multiple sources to inform recommendations
• Apply a continuous-learning mindset to deepen technical and industry knowledge

Qualifications (minimum)

• Bachelor’s degree (any field)
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in finance, FP&A, consulting, or related roles
• Strong Excel skills and experience building financial models
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and present findings clearly to stakeholders
• Excellent communication and active listening skills

Preferred / Nice-to-have

• Degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, Analytics/Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems
• Prior sector experience (Banking & Capital Markets, Industrials, Consumer Packaged Goods, etc.)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Familiarity with financial management software and ERP/reporting systems
• Demonstrated ability to work on client-facing teams in fast-paced environments

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $61,000 - $100,000 per year (actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location)
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus (if applicable)
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement plan (401k), paid time off, and other programs — details provided by our client during the hiring process
