What You’ll Do

Confidential Client’s Accounting & Finance advisory team is looking for an experienced associate-level FP&A Consultant to help clients improve financial performance, forecasting, and decision-making. You will support client engagements, build financial models, and translate data into actionable recommendations.

• Analyze financial and operational data to develop performance metrics and KPIs
• Design and implement performance management frameworks to improve efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Build and maintain financial models to inform strategic decisions
• Use financial management and data visualization tools to surface insights
• Monitor financial trends and identify opportunities to reduce costs or optimize performance
• Collaborate with client teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored financial solutions
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Apply a growth mindset: learn firm services, technologies, and best practices to add value to projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in finance, FP&A, or related analytical role
• Hands-on experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Proficiency with spreadsheet modeling (Excel) and familiarity with financial management or ERP tools
• Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize complex information
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to clients and internal teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree concentration in Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, or Business Management
• Prior experience in one or more industries such as Banking & Capital Markets, Industrials, or Consumer Packaged Goods
• Familiarity with advanced analytics, SQL, or scripting for data manipulation
• Demonstrated ability to work on multi-disciplinary teams and manage client relationships
• Certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or relevant analytics certifications) are a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $61,000 – $100,000 per year (actual pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location)
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
• Benefits: medical, dental, vision, retirement plan (401k), paid holidays, paid time off, and other standard benefits (details provided by the hiring organization)
